would it work to have a window switch to turn n2o off when i go down on the transbrake.for example 2step is set at 4200rpm so set the window switch at 4300rpm because even though wot switch is activated, the system wont work till the window switch reaches4300 right?

I guess it would work, but why not just double your transbrake switch as a nitrous lock-out also?

If you need some help wiring it up this way, just let me know.

Or leave with the juice on the brake?

why not? He has a good converter, trans, and it's a 150 shot IIRC. What's wrong with launching on the bottle? It would leave like a banshee.

I thought Edgar left on the juice.

It's okay to leave on the juice... but sitting there injecting nitrous while the brake is engage is probably not going to be very good on the motor.

its also a lot of fuel because the injectors are wide open plus the fuel cylinoid.oh yeah,i did mention i needed help wiring it brian, what do i need relays, etc?

You wire it through the relay for your nitrous system.you run a wire from the relay to the transbrake.when you go on the brake it cuts the nitrous power and when you release the brake it turns it back on through the WOT switch.

03slobra

which relay?

your nitrous kit is wired through a relay isnt it?

if not it needs to be.

That is correct. Arm the nitrous before you pre stage, and purge it, stage, push on the transbreak, it cuts power to the nitrous system, floor it and when you release the transbreak it activates everything and hold on, you going for a ride. Now 03slobra how much stall on your converter, when you are leaving in a 4200rpm the juice would make it stall more, so is it a 5000 rpm converter, if so, you have the wrong converter for the weight of that car, and the juice would start pushing trough the converter, slowing you down.

That is correct if that's what coupe was saying. However, the way I read his posts, he was intending for the nitrous to be flowing while the brake was engaged.... not a good thing. :shake:

Yep, what he said.

I would use a SPDT relay for your transbrake. Just run the brake off of the Normally-Open side and your nitrous arming power through the Normally-Closed side. That way there is no power to your nitorus system as long as the brake is on. Then, once you release the brake, the nitrous system will work as normal.

Yea, that's what I meant for "leaving on the juice"...the window-switch thing was making me think he was wanting a delay by using his throttle...I confused everyone, sorry. :D

I was pretty happy with it.It ran 10.60@119.5 with 1.51 60ft but it spit and sputterd in 2nd and part of 3rd gear.So i let out of it just past the 1/8th i guess more test and tune required.
