View Full Version : Need help installing a 5.0 into a 96 4.6 Stang

I have just purchased a 1996 Mustang Cobra with no drive train. I have a 1993 Mustang GT with a 306 TFS heads and intake 30# injectors etc. etc. If anyone can help by telling me what it is going to take to make this install go smooth as possible I would greatly appreciate it. I need all the help I can get but would appreciate fact instead of oppinion.

Your first part will be an engine crossmember from a 79-95 mustang.id suggest getting a tubular while you are at it.other than that the drivetrain will drop right in.the other issue is the 93 wiring harness and electronics and the brake system.

:stupid: The K-member (motor mounts) are different.

What's the scoop on the '93 GT? wrecked?

No. Just started this project no money for both. 93 hatch has Cervini Stormin Normin Hood and Stalker front clip... Needs paint and interior but it is for sale
