I am at a loss because if you can attach pictures here, you should be able to attach pictures in the garage. They are the same mechanism's (or should I say that vBgarage ripped it off of vBulletin)

Try attaching the pictures you want in the garage here? (HINT: They may be to big or of the wrong format and you are just not getting the correct error messege)

:redx: i give up. i have tried everything. i resized one far down below the size of everyone elses and all i got was a red x. it apparently wasnt meant to be.

Did you try attaching the pictures you are trying to upload to vBGarage here? (As in, this thread?)

If not, EMAIL them to me (in original format) to sendero -at- senderosnake -dot- com.

i have been letting photobucket resize the pics and noticed for some reason they come up with the file extension *bmp*. not sure if that has anything to do with it. example below. what are the file size limits for the garage?

Thats your problem, vBGarage doesn't like bitmaps. It will take them, bit it's very picky. Just convert the picture to JPEG or GIF and let'er rip.

to convert it all you have to do is open the bmp in microsoft paint and click save as, then change file type to jpg. :nice:

What? The picture I've attached has the .jpg extension. How can you have a .bmp unless your computer is converting them all for you?

Do you have a Dell?

the only file type option in the save menu is bmp, which explains why it was changed from yours. but i dont know it wont let me chose to call it jpeg. one more.

got it working now. i just cant figure out why it will only save the pics as bmp the first time. but after i go to paint (thanks jon) it will accept the change. at least it works now. sorry for the hassle Nathan.

Dude, its no hassle at all. But we do need to fix that .bmp saving problem. BMP's are HUGE on file space!
