I bought a tko 600 at bristol FFW. the guy said its was all there ready to bolt in. (bellhousing, MGW shifter, tko 600 yoke) I put the tranny in when I rebuilt me engine and put my tubular k-member in. I fired it up last weekend and it was making a horrible noise. Preston came over and thought it was a rod knocking. Well earlier today while messing with it, my brother was under the car and said it sounded like it was coming from the bellhousing. We dropped the tranny and found out that the clutch was hitting the bellhousing. is this the wrong bellhousing? If so, does anyone have a tko bellhousing for sell? thanks

you need to buy a block plate and put it in.it will space the bellhousing back so it wont hit the clutch...although it still may grind for a little bit

That's a factory bellhousing going off the part#,like I said on the phone,I remember a post either here,or on the Corral about a similar problem(I don't remember what style clutch set though, maybe a king cobra),and it was a common fitment issue.IIRC,they had to grind out the inside of the B/H to get it to clear, although I would think that it *shouldn't* rub to begin with!
