That mini powerball is awesome for polishing up the Welds -- I have used it with great results. I used the Mother's polish too -- seemed to work pretty well.

I used the regular powerball before the mini came out on my pro stars. Kicked ass!:metal: Used their polish as well...

well i got the mini powerball, and i got the liquid mothers power wheel polish made for the powerball. Getting good results but 1 problem I am having.

After the polish turns black I can see a great shine underneath but after i rub the black off which seems to be a PITA it doesnt look as shiney.

I use california custom purple polish.it works great with very little effort.and they have it in other flavors for highly oxidize aluminum, paint, glass and so on.it is is the best and easiest i have ever used. www.californiacustom.com (http://www.californiacustom.com)

That stuff works good, but should only be used to bring really fugged up wheels back to a good shine then use a normal polish after that. Its an abrasive that actually takes material off...

Here's another tip to get the blackened polish off easy, and will leave a chrome shiny result, sprinkle some flour on the surface of the black residue. When I worked on civilian aircraft (Lear 25's mostly),we used a polish called "Met-All" (I still have some),that's their recommendation, and it works great! I used to polish the nacelles, and the engine intakes with the stuff, which also helped increase performance. You can find it online,it's a little pricey, but it goes a LOOOOOOONG way, which explains why I still have 3/4 of a can after 7 years!:D
