You sprayed so much that it shot the other 3 cams outta the motor. Thats your problem:jester:

What problem were you having that led you to remove the motor

I thought I said something about it in another thread. I was testing out my suspension at holiday beach the other day and after a pass it started knocking and it went down to 10 pounds of oil presssure. Hopefully I will figure it out tomorrow. I plan on inspecting it alittle bit more and maybe care it to a guy I know who builds motors for Bennett racing. I would rather figure it out my self if possible. Thanks Steven

was your windage tray in the oil pan messed up. because if that was loose it could have sucked up to the oil pickup or if you oil pump was loose or if the pump driveshaft was stripped it could all do that too. like twisiting than popping when it slips.

I dont have a Windage tray but I have a main cap girdle and it looked good plus it was tight. The oil shaft was ok also.

I pulled the rod caps today and 1,2,5 and 6 rod bearings were scarred bad. It looked like some of the brass from the distributor gear had embedded into the bearing. Between the bearing and the crank. The crank does not look to bad scarred or scratched. I am going to carry my block and crank to a machine shop I know and see what he thinks. I will let ya know what he thinks in a few days. Steven

your block prob needs an align hone, and bore.

that shows the center is fine but the outer two main caps are wobbling. means either the block is bent a little or the crank isnt straight.

Flywheel/flexplate balance might be out of whack too.
