Is it possible to burn a chips tune to a certian RPM then once passed it goes to factory tune??

wouldn't they just input the factory numbers above that certain RPM? I don't see why it wouldn't be possible

Well my car pulls hard to 6400rpms then starts acting like a rev limiter and goes way lean.

How sure are you that ALL of the factory rev limiters are set higher than 6400?

I thought the factory rev limiter was @ 6250 RPM's:think:

Yeah, but he's saying that his issues start around 6400.

With a tuner, you can set the limiter to anywhere you want it; sounds like to me, someone programmed a 6400rpm limit somewhere in there.

Thats what I'm thinking. On a MSD box it cuts out spark, with the computer rev limiter it should cut out spark and fuel therefore showing a lean condition. Right????

If I remember correctly, computer cuts fuel only.

But yeah when I rode in the car the other day, it felt like a rev limiter.

By the way, in reference to our discussion about the TFI plug.... If this was the problem wouldn't it cut out all the time? Have you tried other positions on the flip chip to see if it still cut out at 6400?

6400 on all 3 positions. Agree with you on the TFI plug. I beleive they just want the problem to be on my end.

Like I said yesterday. We can hook the PMS back up, do a quick and dirty wideband check and carry it up to see if it cuts out when in 'stand alone' mode

sounds like a plan
