where to dyno

never done a dyno dont know where to go id like to go with someone so i dont get screwed over and to see how much pony power i dont got even though its not goin to be alot. I'd like to get a tune for my car.. what kinda prices do tunes run im guessing id get them done at the dyno shop if they can.... or am im goin to have to go to an sct shop that has an in house dyno?

ive never been to trussville so i dont know how to get there they do tunes as well?

60 for three pulls for 85 an hour at Blakes. He can tune if you have the software. I don't know what he charges. If you don't have the software or a hand held you'll have to email BamaChips.

i like doug as a person but he has screwed up three people i know. try henson performance. they use blakes dyno but they are the chip people. good people all of them.

take I-20 out to 459/59N. Take the first Trussville Exit. When you exit, jump in farthest left lane and turn left onto Morrow Road- connecting street that runs behind Shell station, Car lot. You should see Texaco Xpress oil change on your left. Texaco-Xpress oil change is right beside Walker Dynotune and ICON Power Sport is on it's right.

Well lets see, he blew up my dad's 86 trying to tune it, my friends truck ran slower on 93 tune than it did on stock tune, and it took 6 weeks to get doug to call him back to retune his truck.

The guy that tunes my car is James Henson he is an SCT tuner HE IS THE SH*T!!!!!!
My experiance with tuners was so bad I was about to go blowthrough carb setup on my car until I met James..

and ya I loved workign there until he shut down :( now i cant find a replacement day job worth a damn cuz of my driving record.

blake and tracey are the only two dyno places i know of and i've been to both and both are good people, i go to tracey though because i know the guy...if you call mobile electronics ask for him or scott though, the other guys there i think are in the dark about what the oil drums in the floor are...they think mobile electronics just does car stereo installs lol

theres several other dynos but none of them that ive been to have been ran by people that are as knowledgeable as blake or tracy. I'd goto blake just cuz mustangs are his specialty.

nowhere dealing with cars. the driving record isn't clean enough for mechanics shops. SO i random mechanic work on the side here in irondale. Hell I cant find anything worth 2 shits at all right now. so I've been working off and on at bars.

I guess I'll put my .02 in...Doug tuned my car (06 GT)....It had an SCT Xcal2 and JLT cold air with o/r h and flow's....made 284rwhp/291rwtq...I did make some changes to parts and put on C&L Racer kit, Diablo tuner, o/r x with flow's and had Blake tune it......car made 306rwhp/322rwtq.....I was happy with numbers when I left Blake's...made me feel better...
