Check out www.allfordmustangs.com/Detailed/349.shtml (http://www.allfordmustangs.com/Detailed/349.shtml) - It's a detailed page for 2.3 t-5's. The i.d. is 0.59. Good luck!!! Don

I'm so glad I could help! I just got done doing 2 auto to stick conversions. One on my '87 turbo coupe 2.3 and the other on my wife's '90 2.3. Are you working on an svo?

building a 1990 conversion w/t70,bama,fmic but the clutch was fubar so a buddy shipped me one for free just so I can get it around the shop switching to a adapter plate w/5litre t5 clutch just waiting for thecash for the speg flywheel to adapt 2.3 to the 10.5 clutch

Yeah, I had problems with the clutch in my '87 turbo coupe. It was an auto, and I swapped in pedals from a 91 pony and used an svo bell so I could have a cable. T-C's had a hyd set up, that was a pain. cable is easier. I'm still using stock IHI @ 16psi and I would just cook a stock clutch. Got a stage 1 off ebay with new fly from summitt & it grabs!!! Let me know how it goes with you swap. Thanks!

That would be sweet! I have been trying to talk my wife into letting me do a conversion on her 2.3. I have a bunch of spare parts for my t-bird and would only do about 10psi, but she's not sure.

thats ok mine can`t figure out why I`m doing a 2.3 ....I tell her after having a 900rwhp ati F1R blown 5.0 fuel to fun ratio is better with the 2.3

b-blown, which 2.3 bellhousing are you currently running? If it doesn't have the linkage on the side, would you be interested in selling it? I'm looking for the one designed like the 5.0, because I can't use a steeda adjustable on the one with the side linkage. Stock replacement cables suck...they're too stiff!

up till 88 they used the five litre style bellhousing 89 and on they went with the linkage style hence mine is the linkage style but I`m not sure what yrs of them ran the t5`s
