Sweet, how does it feelin comparison to the old engine?

QWKSNKE

It has been on blower since 0 miles. Feels the same Craig from what I can tell. I have only seen about 5 psi on it which resulted in the heating of the nitto's at about 30-35mph :D

I see you bypassed the N/A break-in period. :D It's like smoking crack isn't it? Just gotta have a hit! :jester:

thats why i asked. wasnt sure how the boost would affect the break in period.

NightHawk756

That's the same exact plan I have for my break-in. Boost from the beginning. I'm just going to keep my foot out of it for a while. ;)

Shit just do Like I do, break it in at the track, screw that 6 psi, put 16 psi in it and let it tear the track up. Hey, I break in mine at the track, 2 motor passes and then 225 shots of the juice it breaks her in, LOL.

Edgar

By the way, got the tranny out, took it apart, the sprag welded it self to the drum, all that from the rear end Booom!! I'm selling my 28 spline Moser Axles with C Clip eliminators and 3" studs, they are perfect and like new. 150.00 takes them.

Lee - your new motor is more efficient than the old one - I would get it back on a wideband before I got too gonzo with the boost, just to be safe...

:werd:

That would be hard as hell considering you have to constantly worry about blowing head gaskets, braking timing belts, and fuel spewing on the windsheild. :poke:

Hell, the biggest challege would be just to keep it running. :booty:

Well the cobra is not home. While going to tend to my wife's accident I started spraying coolant from around the radiator somewhere. Had to leave it at the local mall this evening. I'll go get it tomorrow :(
