cam #1 .454 @ .050" 220 degrees in. & ex. 112* lobe seperation

cam #2 .479 @ .050" 230 degrees in. & ex. 112* lobe seperation

cam #3 .504 @ .050" 240 degrees in. & ex. 112* lobe seperation

can I run the 3rd cam without coilbind ..running the stock springs or should I go with #2, just putting it in to have some fun for the winter before the turbo swap....thanks Brian

Cam #'s 1 or 2 because if it's a stock head, it aint gonna flow much more than those two anyway. Also, I hope that 2.3 has mass air, because if it's not, it'll run like crap!

mines a 90 also don`t think it has mass air ...no meter to be seen but maybe just throw the first one in just to try it the speed density should be able to adapt a little....my 88 5.0 did it had the f cam in it before i went mass air

Give it a shot! All you have to lose is a little time.

Have you already bought the cams? If not look into the Boport cams. He makes some nice ones for the 2.3

Stock head? No need to go past about .440 lift.

And that 240º duration is waaay too much for that little motor, especially ground on a 112º lobe spread. Let the turbo fill the cylinder...don't depend on exhaust scavenging. You need something like the first cam, but with 114-115º Lobe spread.
