Well here we go on another roller coaster project. I need 2 projects like I need a hole in the head lol. Its a 06 gt automatic. In stock trim best time to date in good cool air is 1/4 mile 14.07 at 97 mph. 1/8 9.11 on 18 bfg g force radials. I am starting with gear change. Then after I make a pass I will play with tune a little. This will be a slow. Moving project as to let wife get used to changes one at time. Lol I will update as I progress eventually this project will see twin turbos and I will be calling on several board members for advice. Lol

Well the wife been complaining about gear change. Till I said I will change them back.then she said no that she likes the sound when she let's off the throttle and she admitted that she got on it some from curve to curve and likes it. And that it helps slow the car in the curves and helps her get the take off at red lights. So I guess they get to stay and on to the next upgrade. Lol I love it.it amuses me convincing her of the next change.I really enjoy it. 410s + low pros = seat of the pants. Lol

did you go with 4.10's??? how do you like them? i'm debating on 4.10's or 3.73s for mine if I ever get it backfrom my experience if you drive the car a lot an auto with 3.55s and 3.73s in a stick car. The auto already has a 3.30 first gear ratio so it really does not need much over stock gear unless you run a tall tire then a 3.73 would work good 4.10s in the auto imo is over kill on a well driven street car and in the eigth mile 410s only improve the 60 ft because it shifts an xtra gear on the top end.also the 410s make a stock torque convertor slip even worse. I personally think a convertor change is a way better upgrade than gear change on the auto cars. Clyde

sweet...i was looking at the pi converter b/c its a triple disc over the tci converter.qwksnke told me about the pi convertors and from all my study and research the pi is the number 1 choice.jonosranger told me about a alumminum pan conversion with dipstick so I researched it and found that ati makes it. It is pricey but I think worth it. Bamachips seems to have a good price on the pans. Clyde

yall got power adders in mind?:jester:any part that makes one run faster is a power adder in my opinion because it adds more power to the ground.even tires imho lol

Well we decided to try perelli p zero tires this round and thus far handle as good as the 18 inch bfg g force kdw.Only difference that sticks out is the p zero's are much smoother and quieter.Very pleased with them.
