Hi everybody, my name is Maggie and I am Don's (86GTPONY) wife. We visited to Oxford back in July and some of you came to dinner to meet us. We had a lot of fun in Alabama. We are planning to move there sometime early next year. Don always has me come over and read the threads that are posted and thought it was time that I go ahead and member up. Don and I met back in 1993. He owned his pony and I always liked mustangs but never owned one. I got a chance to buy my car from an impound lot where I knew the owner. The owner lived about 5 blocks away from me so I would always see the car and say "some day that car will be mine". Be careful what you wish for. The impound lot sold me my 90 in 97 for $600 cash. It needed some work and some updating on the tags (the guy who got it impounded was driving drunk, with a suspended license and stolen tags on the car-he wasn't getting it back) so with a little TLC it came alive and all mine. Its not a 5.0, it doesn't snap your head back and can't bark the tires, but its a mustang and its all mine. Cars have been my entire life. My dad was a championship open wheel driver back in the 30's, 40's and 50's, and I love racing, all kinds. There's more but I don't want to bore you. When I see you in person next year we can all catch up then. Until then, I will watch and see what y'all are up to and stay in touch. Thanks everyone and talk to you soon!
