You might have to get creative and stack some 1 inch spacers:D

Just pull the intake back off and buy a systemax...trust me you wont be disappointed

:yup: I agree on the spacers, but it's gonna be way up there. Can you run a shorter valve cover? It would be cheaper than buying a whole new intake. Not trying to start anything, I'm just always on a budget - so that's how I look at it.

I bought some cheapie valve cover from Anderson ford that cleared rockers and intake and they have a better set that does it also.

True I had the same issue with the tall ford valve cvers so I bought some sheetmetal covers from Barnett in Atlanta for around 150 and problem solved.

If you know anyone with some stock valve covers from and 87-93 car you may be able to use those

I used a 3/8 with a 5/8 spacer to clear my valve covers Just had to go to the hardware store and round up some bolts.

Prof products (or Edelbrock performer) is no better than a Cobra.

Your easiest way to have a GREAT INTAKE that will clear all that stuff is get a DOWNS box upper from Downs Ford. Around $300 and they have it for the GT40 lower. Perfect intake for what you are doing.

If you know someone local to you that has access to a cnc machine,or who is good with a bridgeport, get them to fab you up a spacer, and then as Marc said, hit up Lowes for some longer bolts. You could even get a temporary one made out of wood as far as that goes.
