I am posting in this section since most of the SN-95 Cobra's here are running mod engines.

For those of you who have swapped out the running horse for the Cobra grill emblem, how did you remove the screws holding the horse bracket on? Is there a special T-15 socket that you can buy somewhere for this???

You can get it at Autozone. I think it's a #25 security bit. I have one if you want to meet me in Hoover one afternoon. :nice:

What are you doing tomorrow? If you want, I should be back in Hoover around 4:30 tomorrow, I could meet you somewhere. Just give me a call tomorrow on my cell, numbers in the roladex.

Thanks!

I'll be at work until 6:00, but I'll be coming right through Hoover on my way to school. Class doesn't start until 7:00, so I've got plenty of time to stop by. :chug:

That might work, my wife is leaving me with the kids around 6:00, so I won't be able to leave the house. I live right by the Galleria (near the 459 to 150 by-pass). If it doesn't press you too much for time, give me a call and I will give you directions to the house.

Perhaps yours were replaced when the car was painted

The Torx that is on it has a on center nub which stickes out and is flat to the top of the screw head. As Joesph said it is called a security screw, like what you would see holding a bathroom stall together

I always use a punch and break off the little center stub, then I can use a normal torx bit :nice:

Or you can use a dremel to grind down the stub.
