ok so ive cleaned this thing out and.....it still does it but it doesnt do it while the a/c is on or so it hassnt yet but it has a weird idle every now and then it will have like a low toned lope kinda like its cammed which the car has the stockers in it. Maybe the o2 sensors are starting to go their way at this point idk maybe a new iac.

When the car dies out, do dashes appear on the odometer? My Mach 1 is doing the same type thing and it displays dashes on the odometer when it happens.

If a car just dies and doesn't display dashes- is this car tuned? What mods? If there are mods and no tune then I would Suspect that to be the issue. In the tune I would add some dashpot to eliminate this issue.

To the Mach1 guy, if your odo shows dashes then you are loosing communication with the processor. Do you have a chip in this thing? If so remove the computer and make sure the chip is properly seated. Put some duct tape to hold the chip in place. When the chip was installed was the circuit board properly prepped, this can cause the issue you are seeing too. Separate the computer from the connector and make sure no pins in the computer are pushed back or bent, this can cause the issue you are having. I have seen this before, tuning these cars. The pins are so small in the computer & it is V E R Y easy to have that happen. :metal:

You do have the makings of the computer being slightly unhappy. Aside from tuning check the obvious-vac leaks, etc.
