The Pypes Violators sounded pretty mean on a 5.0, but i think they sound like shit on a 4.6

Since I can never keep up with what you own :jester: What did you install these on?

Personally I have always stayed away because they were a 'cheap' exhaust setup

i know its not the catback but i had the o/r x-pipe on my silver gt it fit fairly well for the price drivers side tube was maybe a 1/4 in longer than the stock h that was my only complaint

I've got a set of their starter tubes on the vert and they were fine.

. . . of course, there's not a whole lot you can mess up on an 18" piece of slightly bent pipe. :D

I've never considered them "cheap" A guy I work with has a Pypes catback on his new challenger and it sounds good but he still has cats on the car so that will make a difference and they have different series that range from kinda loud to really loud. I think I might go with x-pipe and macs on the firebird.

I've read on the corral, and a couple of other sites, of quite a few people having fitment issues with them on Foxes.

Yea... looks a little bit off to me too. Maybe they used a Lincoln Mark7 as a "jig" :D

Yep the pre-muffler cat kit that I bought to put on the '93 cobra did not fit at all. I had to cut and fit new piping just to make up the 12" section that they cut to short......I do not think their kits are anywhere near as good as borla, magnaflow, bbk, mac etc. etc......even Summit Racing's kit for foxes is better than their stuff.

I was not very impressed with their craftsmanship.
I will not buy their exhaust items again.

Like coupe stated above they used an '87 Lincoln Mark 7 as a jig....

On mine I even set the stock h-pipe back up in the car to make sure that I had not lost my mind when trying to make their crap fit. I was lucky enough to have a chop saw and welding machines so that I could fix mine.

You will probably just have to take it to a muffler shop and have it fixed as they will probably not do anything about it anyway.
