i have a custom upper, it is fitted with a 70mm throttle body from a previous 5.0 car.

:stupid: Also, get yourself some dial calipers, and make sure all of the ports are as close to the same size as possible. Otherwise you'll be doing more harm than good.:nice:

So a 5.0 throttle body will work on it? Just as stocker, is that larger than the 4cyl by how much?

2.3 turbo TB's are very tiny. The most common "upgrade" is a regular SN95 (pushrod) throttlebody (60mm), which has the correct orientation on the blade linkage, TPS, and mounting position. Only thing about it is the 4-bolt pattern is on a larger square, so needs some sort of adapter made or holes drilled/machined... Stock SN95 TB's are usually cheap-to-free but take a bit of work to get on there... it's a GREAT upgrade!

Cool thanks Matt. I was wondering about that. that's why I asked. I remember the 4cyl having more of an SN95 shape to it.
