I used the Percys dead soft gaskets on mine, and they worked great! I will definately continue to use them. Just my .02

I use copper header gaskets (do not know name) and I also add on both side the copper high temp gasket sealer.

I've never used those, but they seem to be similar to the percys. I use the stage 8 fasteners. Most people think they are overkill, but on mod motors you don't want to have to do it twice.

I believe those are "Earl's" I had my first set for 9 years before they leaked once. Going to use them again!

I've never used Stage 8 hardware, but it just looks like it would be way too tedious to install the e-clips on 16 header bolts. . . and heaven forbid you ever have to remove the headers.

I would much rather just replace any bolts that happen to back out than to deal with the extra hardware of the Stage 8 bolts. As long as you use a good metal-based gasket, you shouldn't have to worry about it blowing out if you drop a bolt.

i believe im gonna give those remflex gaskets a try along with some standard ARP header bolts...all i lack now is some o2 extensions and flow tubes

*** im assumin that the header bolts will be the same thread as stock even tho i have trick flow heads???

yep. header bolts are header bolts. Doesn't matter if they are Ford or Chevy

:agree: Not to mention those e-clips have a bad habit of flying all over the place and getting lost.

What sucks, is that they always sell them in packs of 12 instead of 16.
