Turn the VAM (Vane Air Meter) back over so it's upright. Sitting on its side like that might affect the spring-loaded flowmeter. :nice:

and be prepared to buy a whole turbo for it if you wanna stay stock (not recommended), as I have heard IHI is no longer selling just "replacement center sections." An SVO T3 would be a better option with very minimal modification.

With the rite tuning and turbo and boost level they are pretty quick and stock they get in the high 20s fuel mileage

They tend to blow a hole between #'s 2 & 3. Run a compression test and see if those two are lower... And good luck!

Probably gonna want to have the head milled, then I would use a fel-pro 1035 head gasket. A little more expensive than a replacement, but worth it... then turn the boost up!

Im gonna try to pull the head of tonite. I think im gonna throw a 10 dollar felpro gasket on it to make sure the block aint cracked first. I dont want to spend 60 dollars on a head gasket to find a cracked block or head or something.:metal: Those aint to hard to pull the head off of anyways.

Well i found a whole free turbo motor from a guy my dad knos so i pulled the head off it and had it checked. Thay cleaned it, magnafluxed it, installed cam bearings, fixed one crack, checked the valve springs and ground the valves for 245 dollars. I think i got a good deal. Anyways its runnin pretty good for now.
