View Full Version : rocker arm parts needed!

http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc59/tayzoid1/modified.jpg i shattered one of these today i have no idea what its called or how to buy one the roker is fine it just shatted when i went to tighten down. if anybod has any layin around i need one really bad this is the only thing keeping my motor tore apart!

Its a pedestal for your rocker arm. I will look and see if I have a extra one laying around. If I do you can have it.

dang. how much torque did you put on it??

like none at all it had to be cracked. it was like a quarter turn past hand tight

and my problem is i need one exactly like the one in the pic i have roller rockers just like the frpp one's in the pic

Sounds like the trunnion in the rocker arm was upside down. Flat side faces up.

nahh with these rokers the flat side sits down in the lil channel and the curved part fits exactly with the bottom of the fulcrum it wont go on anyother way. it just got weak with age i guess

:slap: If that side goes down, then the flat side goes up, like I said.

well the idk im not doubting ya but the only flat side i see is the part that goes down in the channel lol but i can be very ignorant. lol so im probably lookin at it wrong
