Has anyone swapped the roller lifter setup out of a 302 into a older 351? what are the gains i will get? is it worth it?

i did it but they are alot of work . you have a lot of grinding where the dog bones set. other than that no problem and you can use push rods from a 351w roller motor this would be a 94 up 351w!

I may just leave it flat tappet. would like to have a roller but it can wait til i can do it right. dont want to grind on the block any.

If you plan on using stock roller lifters in a non roller 351 block I believe it requires a small base circle cam as well in order for proper oiling to the lifters and to keep them in the lifter bore correctly

^What he said. It's not a straight bolt on swap. If you want a 351W roller block like Swammi mentioned, it will be an F4TE block.
