I would love to have a set of these for my car but I don't think I could justify spending $1500 on something that does not improve my engine's performance

They claim that swapping to the billet covers takes 6lbs off the front end.

6lbs off your wallet, I guess you can call the front end, it's close

Only thing I can say is that mod motors are expensive!!!!

One reason I am sticking with the old pushrod motors until the new mustang comes out this year. ;)

Give it a little while, and UPR will copy that design and sell them for $150.

I still wouldn't buy them. I can't bring myself to buy any UPR product.

Ditto. UPR is just cheaper copies of everyone else's stuff, kind of like the "Sparkomatic" of aftermarket Mustang parts.

Upr's newer k member is nice, not impressed with any other products though

I wouldn't buy ANY of their suspension stuff! There's a thread on the corral, and another one on YB awhile back about their K members and control arms having cracks and shitty welds under the powdercoating where you can't see it. There was a guy in Florida that got killed because of it.

BULLSHIT

You ordered the entire billet interior dress up kit from them for the Cobra

Dale sold it all as scrap metal too

you know that's a lie. My cars always retain stock interiors (other than hidden nitrous switches and a-pillar guages when running boost)

From a Machinist point of view, they couldn't sell them any cheaper. I don't think there is a big market for $1500 valve covers, though.
