ignition probs

ok my car runs and drives now. and when it has been at running temp for about 10 mins. it will get just a lil slower just enough to notice the more you drive it the worse it gets it just wants to stop pulling. after a lil while when you get on the throttle it will rev fine through till 5k then the next time it will rev fine till 4k the longer you drive the car the shorter you can rev it. and ive noticed the coil is getting hotter than i feel that it should ive checked and rechecked my wiring for the duraspark box and coil wiring and idk what else to do.

any ideas?

If you are positive on the wiring I would have the duraspark box tested, something is heat soaking the coil.
