never heard of it. I wonder what kind of turbo that is with the base kit. That looks awful cheap

There are some people on the corral that have it.. After some reading looks like the manifolds crack often, but other than that it works great.

The approach and design is decent, but they are notorious for having cracking at flanges and merges... you could keep welding up cracks, but the metal is that chinese stuff, real brittle. There's a reason it's cheap.

The B&G turbo kit is the most robust that I know of and it's not much more money if any.

The turbo is either a MasterPower (supposedly made in brazil) or a Chinese turd.

Ysah none of the 5.0 kits are real high. I think hellion has the highest price

The base kit has the Chinese turbo, the Mastrepower is an
upgrade and has a 1 year warranty the other has none

I've seen some MasterPowers last for years... some that took unexpected dumps after a couple months. Hit or miss, but still muuuch better than the chinese crap. I get emails all day long about buying those chinese turbos complete.

Some of them are $150 copies of $800 garrett turbos... and still not worth the metal they are recycled from. :shake:
