Okay, I'm in need of some window tinting (Anniston/Oxford area) and need some opinions on where to have it done.

I used Unlimited Audio in Oxford a few years ago and was very happy with their work. Are they still a good option? Are there any other places that people recommend?

I want to have the best quality work and will pay a bit more for an installer with good skills.

I have always used Hutch Touch. They have done 3 vehicles for me.

Brian,

It's really hard to say who would be the best option in this area. Having managed Unlimited at one time as well as Wizard when it was open I know everyone in town that still does it. I hate to say it but no one in this town will ever be as good as Rodney Cavender(RIP) but that doesn't mean I still wouldn't let them do my vehicles. Bobby is at Sight and Sound now, John still owns Unlimited. Both of them are going to be about the same as far as skill, there is also Scott Harris on the hill going into Anniston. All 3 are about the same. Always remember no matter how good someone is, you will almost always have "some" trash in your windows. It's not a dust free environment so you will see some tiny bubbles here and there. When it boils down to it I would just use whichever is most convenient for you.

Sight and Sound 435-2392--ask for Bobby
Unlimited Audio 835-6400--ask for Jacob

Not sure what Harri's # is...
Be sure you let them know I sent you!

Yeah, I realize there's always a possibility of dust, tiny bubles, etc.... that's not my concern. My worry is how well they handle the edges, trim, and dot-matrix areas.

Aside from just thier general abilies, I also want someone that has the drive to do a good job. I have seen products of some really good tinters that just wasn't all that good. Sometime they may have a bad day or just don't give any special attention on a particular car for whatever reason. To me, having "someone that knows someone" is a big advantage. I would prefer to be able to have someone that knows the tinter personally so that they can persuade them to take a little extra time on my vehicle. Of course, I'd be willing to tip the installer if the job was done exceptionally well. ;)
