I've had a blow off valve from forced 4 for a while now along with an inter-cooler that I had polished. It took some doing to get this in as I had to relocate the brake computer, map sensor, and the vam had to go forward about 2"... Pretty nice upgrade - no hesitation between shifts and it's easier on the turbo when you let off quickly. I also bumped the boost up to 17psi. :metal:http://i602.photobucket.com/albums/tt107/86GTPONY/BOV004a.jpg?t=1281915606

Mine makes me waste gas. Love the sound of it.

nice.
I have the Forced 4 CAI kit with BOV return for my car. Of course, it is still sitting in the hatch awaiting install with everything else

Thanks! Now I just gotta polish everything else, but the upkeep is a pain on a DD...

Actually, there's less sound with this BOV because it vents the pressure back to the front of the turbo. (Which also helps keep it spooled up.) Before, every time I let off the throttle, you could hear the turbo getting forced to stop... Kinda hard on the bearings, etc.

nice.

And yet another reason to move to Alabama - there is so much work to be done lol! C'mon Lee!!!

Thanks for the compliments... but now the wastegate is stuck and I got no boost. :snail:

That is better than having it stuck closed.

Not sure about that... I'd just be boosting more!

On one bpv I had to pipe it backwards because the piston would not hold the boost pass 18. I'm using one off the 300zxtt that got parted out a while back. Did it the same way.

Well, I figured out what it was - the rod to the wastegate was sticking. Anyway, the valve is holding firm at 18psi which is max for the stock IHI turbo. All good... for now!
