j'k.
the white car is fighting me.
she's left me stranded twice, due to (what i beleive) is an overheating problem. towed her in, ran code scanner, nothing hit. replaced a leaking coollant cap..still doing it. (reason i suspect overheating, is when she dies, it boggs down, starts runnin like shit and hunts and surges, trying to stay alive. given enough time, it boggs untill it can't idle any longer and then jus dies. let it sit for 10 minutes, she runs fine for another say 15-30 minutes.) car is reading normal as in R in NORMAL, no lights save for a C.E when the car boggs to shit. ???

if not overheating, could it be?

a. IAC?
b. pump issue (FP is loud as hell and perhaps stock as i've done nothing to this car i've picked up at 138, now reading 160k)
c. clogged F/F
d. gobblins

seriously, this is my only means of transport and it's becoming unreliable. any suggestions would be most appreciated. THANX:chug:

I would start with replacing the fuel pump & filter then go from there. If it's the stock pump, it's probably near done anyway especially if it's making a lot of noise.

Don, is right except I would do just the filter first as it is cheap and can be done in your driveway.

by the way, good to see you back around Jase, wish it was under non-car trouble circumstances though

Mine did this and it was the fuel pump

Fuel pump on the svo one time. I now have a lid so the tank no longer has to be dropped.

Mine does this every 20,000 miles. I change the fuel filter and it's fine.

It bogs and eventually dies, no matter if it's idling or at WOT. After 5-10 minutes of sitting it runs fine for another few minutes then the whole cycle starts again. Sound familiar, Jase?

I agree with Lee, put a fuel filter on it first and see if you can get out of the problem for $10 and 10 minutes.
