I got some numbers at steel friday 14.9 @ 92.47 my motor is all stock with 230k miles. Im not happy with it, but ive got somthing on the way. I found a 1996 cobra with 79k that is was wrapped around a telephone pole. The owner of the cobra is letting me get everthing to make my gt a cobra except the wheels three were broken. Ive got some questions will my computer and wiring harness suport the 4v motor and will my fuel system do the job because i can get anything off of it i just need to know what i need

Are you getting all of the drivetrain? I think you will need the wiring because of some sensor difference.

It would actually be best to have the cars side by side, and move EVERYTHING over

oh yeah.. 92mph with that ET tells me you were spinning. Working on getting some traction and you will see that ET drop

The cars will be side by side to do the swap and im not using the drive train because my trany is good and the axles were broke on the rear end from the wreck so im using the motor and what ever else i need to make it work// so i can use my computer but use the cobra engine harness and what about the fuel system cus i can get any thing i need off the cobra oh and lee i spin a little but my r/t was .599 i know horrible i would like to see mid 14s with the stock setup before i drop the heart of a snake in it

use the cobra computer.
As far as fuel system goes, you can probably use your pump but everything else will probably change

You shouldn't have do any wiring in the dash. Just swap the engine harness and computer if you are staying 5 spd.

I sort of know the guy your getting the cobra from. Fuel is the same other than the injectors. Should be a pretty straight forward swap
