yeah the D! is LOUD but i would rather hear that than the exhaust haha

im just about to get me a 96 or 97 Cobra when my truck sells
and i want either a catless x pipe with flowmasters
or a catless h pipe with flowmasters

just dont know which one i want........

yeah Borla sounds good on everything

but on a mustang i gotta have that hollowness of the Flowmasters

my only difficulty is the decision on mid-pipe

If you want loud and flowmaster, I'd say pro-chamber. I'm not fan of chambered mufflers. But if I wanted obnoxiously loud and mean then slp loudmouths w/ o/r xpipe are the ticket. I love my borla's, I'm swapping my catted x-pipe for pro-chamber. Should be little louder

I hate O/R X pipes with Flowmasters on 4.6s, especially DOHCs. If you want Flows, go with a ProChamber or H pipe.

I've got a VRS stainless off-road x-pipe and I like it alot. I've still got a stock catback though.

Matt Pool's car has an off-road x-pipe with flows if you want to hear one though.

Thanks man :chug: About the x-pipe, if you want to use chambered mufflers with an x-pipe then make sure you get an aluminized pipe and NOT a stainless pipe. I used to have a stainless x with flowmasters and then switched to Mac mufflers, both of them were to raspy but it was because of the stainless pipe having some weird harmonics, I have heard many cars with chambered mufflers and aluminized x-pipes that sound awesome.

My gt had a VRS X-pipe with flowmasters behind it. It sounded great, but it was loud as crap and the drone would kill me. 99ls1 used to say it was alot louder than the mach1. Once I made the swap to magnaflows, I was much much happier.

That he is a butt head, a big wuss, none enjoyable of his own work! Shit I'll be running it before I sell it. He needs to enjoy his work before selling it. Put the for sale sign on while running true street, just like it is right now, he'll find some one that will be interested. See, he does not have to worry about anything while doing the cruise. Not like me, I have to be carefull, that I don't run out of fuel, or foul a spark plug!!! Once I survive that, then the game is on.
