As far as I know it works well. Many of your stock turbos on today's cars have them. Ford used that type of turbo on the 03-07 6.0 diesel trucks.

Lee's right. Been around for years on lots of diesels and even some smaller turbos on European cars. I don't like it because all that mechanism in there can get carbon'd up and not actuate correctly. Engineers at work.

?looks to be one to make low and high rpm power.I like advanced technology like vct.I was just thinking it seems to be a good idea but more maintenance.Just exploring.lol so what are the best all around turbo designs.I dont wont to give up anything.Also has there been anything on converting pushrod v8 to vct.I think variable cam timing would help a turbo car act in a similar manner to the vgt.thx Clyde

They say "B" is the exhaust cam...but it's obviously the cam journal. :think:
This setup, along with the drive-by-wire TWIN throttlebodies and TWIN independent mass-air meters are the main reason I don't care for the 2008-2010 Viper engine. Sure it makes 540rwhp STOCK, but it would be a chore to modify and tune.

I've seen the billet 118mm wheel in person and it's something to behold. We're using that wheel in our turbo on our long-time friend and customer Jim Monson's ride. He went 6.97 on the 106 at BG a few months ago, so we're hoping to knock a couple more tenths out of it. As far as I know in outlaw 10.5 racing, he's the fastest small block, single-turbo car running through a powerglide. Been a string of 203-205mph runs too. :nice:
