About how much cost is involved in mini tubbing a 90 fox hatch. And can you keep the factory interior panels like factory? I have the metal and fab skills to pull off such a mod but have never done one and would rather see atleast one done first before trying it on my car lol

Well, I was going to tell you to hit up this thread http://www.streetstangs.net/showthread.php?t=1794
But it looks like the links are dead. I thought we had some info in the FAQ section of the site but I didn't see anything there either

Well from what I'm being told on another site, I wont be able to keep the interior panels factory and mini tub the car. So time to just use a BFH lol

The interior panels will have to be trimmed to fit the tub. When I did my coupe I had, I bought the Art Morrison coil over kit $140 and a sheet of the thinnest sheetmetal they had local $60 IIRC, I also bought seam sealer $45.
Everything else was just time and welding wire and cutoff wheels. So about $300

From an interior point of view and since you are doing the work yourself, do a lot of measuring and see what you can do without impacting the interior panels

When I was looking into this, I found that DMC Racing makes a bracket to retain the stock shock mounting position.

You can fit a 28" 10.5 on an 8 or 9 inch wheel without cutting the car. You will need to roll the lip on the wheel well.

As far as relocating shocks, it depends on how much you cut it and any mini tub worth doing will require cutting the quarter trim panel.
