I have found a used Kenne Bell setup for an 86-93 5.0 and would love to be able to use it on my 94, but I can't really find what the difference in the 2 kits are. I'm probably going to give Kenne Bell a call tomorrow morning when I get off work if I cant find an answer somewhere tonight.

Main difference is snout length. 94-95 accessories sit closer to the motor

There's also the difference in upper intakes, so the plumbing would be different. You could put a Fox type upper on it, but it would take a bit of modifying.

kenne bell replaces the upper intake. Is it a 2.1 blowzilla? Is it for a stock or gt40 lower intake?

You're right. I was thinking about that old BBK blower kit they had back in the day that used an offset Eaton M90.

It can't be for both lower intakes. They have different runner ports and mounting locations.

This kit comes with both the adapters for the stock manifold and one for the GT40. Unfortunately its the 1.5L kit. I may still get it anyway.

I'm sure it's the same kit I'm thinking of an it's a good deal. He has both the stock and the gt40 intakes for the KB. The foxbody and the sn95 are different. The only way I can think of it working is swapping over to the fox pulley set up.

Makes sense now. 1.7 isn't anything to sneeze at. The M112 on the Lightning and Cobra is a 1.8.

I may try to sit it on top of a 351 that I'm looking at and see what it looks like...

You have a 351 GT40 lower? If not, I'll check over on lightningrodder. There's always one in the first gen classifieds.

I don't yet... I've gotta make a decision on heads too, its just a shortblock with forged dish pistons and forged rods right now.

The kenne bell superchargers are fun I had a 2.1 on my old car. They are quiet, and make almost instant full boost. Even the smaller 1.5 is good for 8 to 10psi. And if you put that on top of a 351w you would have a torque monster out of the hole.

I'm picking up the 351 tomorrow, still trying to work a deal on the KB... I'm gonna need some good heads and a 1st Gen Lightning lower intake.

Here you go. You'll have to register to do business though. I'll vouch for you if need be.

I'm gonna hold off for the moment, I'm looking at a 1st Gen Lightning. I'll keep it in mind though.
