My newest ride.....the '01 F150 has minor paint flaking on the dash issues.....
Nothing more than age but I want it looking clean......
Decided to experiment a bit,removed the trim panel around the radio and temp gauges.......
6 applications of Oven Cleaner later...it is stripped(that paint the factory uses,sticks really well)..........
flat black primer and black satin finish and I've got a damn good looking panel...
Now......to decide what color to do the large panel that surrounds the gauges and behind the radio panel........
all in all I am quite satisfied with the outcome so far...
