All right guys, I need some motivation to finish my 03 Cobra. I finally got the motor rebuilt. Its been sitting next to my tool box for the last two months. I brought it home two weeks ago and it just sat in the back of the bed. I'm really burned out!
I did manage to put it on the stand tonight.

Had the heads ported and polished. Stroked to 5.0

Anyone want to come help?

What was wrong with the original motor?

I'd love to come help, but I haven't even found time to work on my own crap lately...

What was wrong with the original motor?

MMP in California charged the previous owner ten grand to stroke the engine. Two thousand miles later it spun a bearing. I had to replace one piston and the crank. Had the heads reworked while down. Car only has 40,000 miles.

I finally got off my Butt and put the engine back in the 03. It fired right up and then I heard it! A knock. WTF a Knock.

The Engine builder came out and listen to it. He told me to take it out and send it back to him. So here we go again. Six grand later!
