What do you think about the MMR unit? Think that is stronger than a out-of-the-box FRPP high flow pump w/billet gears??

The new Modular Mustang Racing oil pumps are designed for 2 things, STRENGTH & PERFORMANCE . The MMR pumps start out as brand new Ford Racing units, each pump is hand disassembled and inspected, the bypass valving is modified to increase oil pressure throughout the entire RPM range. This is great for Turbo and Blower cars (especially twin turbo modular applications) because of the amount of oil that these systems require. This oil pressure loss shows up in the rod bearings and camshaft journals and will eventually ruin a cylinder head, crankshaft, rod, camshaft and engine. Next we focused on the gears, each gear is inspected for flaws, de-burred at the edges to prevent cracks and finally cryogenically treated to increase strength as much as 300%!! No more need to install aftermarket gears into your used pump, get an all new unit, completely assembled ready for installation. This pump is used in the MMR 5.4 Turbo race car at well over 1000+HP and 8000+RPM. Dont put your new engine together without one! THESE PUMPS WILL NOT BREAK, GUARANTEED!!

Complete Pump kit w/oversize pick-up tube (fits stock oil pan), fits all 4.6 and 5.4, SOHC or DOHC.

On sale now, only $199 !!

Talked to Boss330 today. He said freeze treating a powdered part is like putting lipstick on a pig. Get the real billet gears (VT) and the FRPP (Cobra) pump.
