Pulled the timing cover and removed all chains, etc
Pulled the oil pump
Pulled the heads off
Dropped the pistons/rods out

Tomorrow I will pull the crank out and take it to make sure it is good or if I have to turn it. Also will take the block to the machine shop next week for a .020 overbore. 333ci of DOHC bliss should keep me entertained for now

I can't wait till you get this thing up an running

How long you reckon till it's in the car?

You know you've got a seriously undersquare engine when the diameter of your pistons is less than the diameter of your rod journals :D

My next step is to have the block machined .020 over and the crank checked. than I will put the block back in the back to keep clean and save up the $2500 for rods/pistons/bearings/oil pan.

My dad is driving out here right now for my aunt's 50th bday, so he will take the heads back to FL. That way, they are stored in a safe place and I wont have to ship them to Boss330 when I get the funds for the head work. His shop isn't too far from Sebring.

I'm really in no hurry, b/c I want this thing to be right and dont want to dump my entire check each week into it. Hoping to have it running and tuned by this fall (05)...just in time for the good racing air.

Only thing I'm not sure about is headers. From what I've read, there are several options, but I have to talk to Boss330 and see what he suggests to get my 500rwhp N/A on 91 octane.
