...especially when they're Borla XR-1's. :metal:

Guy traded in a Ram 1500 with these and the sales mgr. said he didn't like them...so the parts department offered a trade. :D


Mufflers: $0 + stock exhaust system
Labor: $0 + 2 Mac Flowpaths

I got almost as good a deal recently - 2 spintechs and a single 3" SS Magnaflow - $30 bux total. Spintechs are slated for my truck... :D

99 w/5.2L...It was custom work, so I also got enough straight pipe to have 3" flowtubes and outlets. :nice:

Actually they're quieter than the flowpaths at cruise, but they f'n scream at over 1/2 throttle acceleration. ;)

That's kinda what I figured. Straight throughs are so much quieter than chambered mufflers at cruise it isn't even funny. Atleast in the car they're quiet. I can't wait to hear them - it'll be the first set of XR-1s I've heard on a 5 liter.
