I have been looking for information on stock spring rates (for all years) if anyone finds anything that details what the stock spring rates are, please list it here.

Thanks

From what I have found:
In the stikey thread above, there are many factory rates for newer years listed.

Others are for '99 up GT (which I have found)
coupes - 450 fornt / 210 rears
conv - 400 fronts / 185 rears

Still trying to find factory rates for the 95

For the 95 Cobra....400fr/160rr?

And better yet...from the horse's mouth.

I have some stock 01 Cobra vert springs if they turn out to be benificial to you. Edit: NM, the rears are for IRS. But you could cut them to your liking. Probably not stiff enough anyway. 500fr/470rear.

Thanks Wicked, why can't I ever find that information on the net, guess I am too old.

I am mostly looking at lowering the car some (tired of the 4x4 look), but do not want an extremly harsh ride.

I would really like to do coil overs, but I do not have the money to do it all the right way (at this time) so I want to do something that is good enough for my current needs.

Your front springs might actually work, I would most likely look at cutting a half to full coil, I can do the math (off of your first link) and determine the rate.

I'll pm you on the fronts.
