The reason I'm going with the F-cam is because of it's praise from the turbo world. There are numerous people making good power with this cam. Like Brent (888hp), he loves the f cam. He has a friend that grinds custom cams that keeps hounding him to make one for him and he won't do it. Another guy with a 306, same heads and intake that I'm using and an F-Cam is making 610rwhp/740tq through an aod at 17psi. There's stories after stories like this with this cam. I've even had turbo companies and turbo racers say they liked this cam for a street car. ;)

If the reason you're getting it is to keep the car more streetable, than I guess that's fine; just realize that there will always be more power to tap if you got a custom ground cam.

But I'm already going to be pushing the limits of streetable power anyway. So that's why I'm staying with this cam, but also there's plenty of horsepower to be had with this cam also. Hence the topic of this thread and many other stories like it. ;)
