What would a 97 Cobra run in the qtr if it had,o/r h-pipe, 410 gears, and a 150 shot? :dunno: With street tires and with DR's. :dunno:

I would say the same. Maybe 11's with a good driver and drag radials

SHIT!!!!!!!!! I busted a guy at works ass awhile back so he went and bought a NOS kit for his Cobra. I was just wondering when it got cold would I still take him. Looks like I need some DR's. :shake: Thanks for the help guys! ;)

BTW: He runs down at Bama dragway (1/8 mile). He said he got it in the low 8's with street tires. He is a compulsive lier.

You're going to need more than drag radials if he's going to be in the 11's. :poke:

Thats what he's claiming on street tires. He said he was spinning alot. I figured once it got down in the 30 degree range I would be alright?

put you a 50 shot on the truck and be done with it. I ran one on my truck for 2 years along with about 17lbs boost and had no problems and this is with the right foot of a 19 year old

Jamison, thats basically the same mods I had on my car, except I had a 100 shot. You know how mine ran when we ran em on hwy 31.

I think on street tires, he might break into a low 13, but thats cause he'll be spinning like crazy. Drag radials will help, but not that much. With that tall of a gear and a 150 shot, slicks are gonna be a requirement to get that car to hook properly, and then you can kiss his tranny goodbye. POS t-45.

Don't forget it may be harder to hook up for him with the colder outside temps, unless he really knows how to drive.

Was this the guy with the white Cobra, and the white Cobra snake sticker on the back window?

It was about 85 that day so I cant really compare it to cool weather. He has an after market trans. He's gone through like 3 t45's.

Hmmm, I used to think nitrous was a bad power adder since you didn't have it all the time. Well, I now belive that an Eaton supercharger is even worse. At least with nitrous, you can pick when you are going to have the power and not have to rely on weather all the time. :poke:

So, Jamison... now that it's getting cold, do you want to have that rematch? This time we I will have slicks too.
