Went to the track tonight at MMP, did not make my first pass until 8pm cause they were in doubt if they were going to have Test and Tune due to the cold, but people started to show up, so Right off the trailer since the Dyno, car ran on the left lane:

60ft 1.56
330 4.59
1/8 7.11
mph 97.15
1/4 11.20
mph 119.79

next pass had to abort, car sent me to the wall so had to lift, next pass, I never open the hood once:

60ft 1.58
330 4.619
1/8 7.14
mph 97.26
1/4 11.22
mph 119.77
This motor is putting down some serious power down, if I had mess with it a bit it'll probably run faster. I decided not to spray it for safety reason, track would not hold it, and probably hit the wall, 44* temperature. I'm trying to convince Anthony to open the track these last weeks, on Sundays for test and tune from 1-5pm. I'm happy, the motor is putting some good hp, can't wait to spray it...

Guys, you should hear this motor in the burn out, now that it has the ultr flows and the X pipe, it does a burn out effortlessly. The torque converter from PTC works great, and that is on the bit tight side, can you imaging with a 4200 stall converter! I was launching it at 3200rpm in the 2 step, it gets in the 2 step fast. Lee did you get your tranny fix? I'm going to talk to Anthony to see if he has T&T on the next Sunday left before the year is out. If does the first T&T will be the 4 of Dec, we should get a group to come down to MMP if it happens.

Yep, I had a PTC 4200 stall in my coupe. I loved it. It was also pretty tight for awhile but started loosening up after about 20 runs. Congrats Edgar!!

97mph on motor is looking good in the 1/8 :nice:
What are you looking for on the gas in the 1/8???

My buddy's turbo 347 went 6.88 @ 108 the other night; 18 psi... Next pass, broke a piston. Gary went 6.70 @ 108...then yaked his Cometics

Car has been before 6.21. I'm trying for 6.10s or lower, as long as the car runs consistent 9.70s I'll be happy.

Hey Edgar were did you get your car dynod at , im thinkin about using a guy in Atlanta. How mutch does it usally cost?
Oh and my car is just about ready for the track, but i will not be able to go this weekend 12-04-05.
One more thing ,what do you think about the little outlaw track in Clio--called Pike County Dragstrip. We could rent this track pretty cheap if any body intrested.

I Dyno my car at Walker Dyno tune in Trussville, AL

http://www.walkerdynotune.com Give him a call, its on the web site, his name is Blake, he is the owner, tell what you planning to do and he will give you a price. 1-205-661-9539. That track at Glassco(Pike County) is an 1/8 mile track and I consider that track not even worth for testing, if is not the 60ft clocks not working, is the et clocks, or the tree does not activate. Give Blake a call:

It use to be called Pike County Race way, now is Gllasco, thats the owners name. That track and the one at Louville, the one in the hole are both worthless tracks.

You mean sand wood! That track in the 99-2001 was a hooking bad ass track, ask Ricky, we use to run there 7.00s and we did some seriuos racing there. But then aftre owner change and built the round track at the end, is just worthless too, they do not prep it plus they don't even have a tractor to prep the track. Pro Mod cars don't even want to run there becuase is to slippery.

Yep your right about the track name bein gllasco, but every body doesnt want to run 1\4 mile like we use too .I mean it is alot of fun but I guess I have just kinda gave in to the masses. In this area (Dothan) there all 1/8 mile tracks. But wherthless or not I'll bet you money Gllassco can and will hook as good as any, you want 60 foots in the 30s or even 20s thats were you get em. And yes Live GT I do go to One Way from time to time But like Edgar said the round track has takin its tole on that track, too bad I wish it was a better place to race.

Since I am a newbie here, could you share your combo with me? I am really curious as to what you are running.
