How can I find out (without dismantleing the engine or oil pan) if my block is stock or bored? Would a compression test do it?

As I said before.. The guy I bought it from didn't do most of the work to the engine. He bought it from another guys wife after her husband passed away. She didn't know anything about the car. She just handed him whatever papers she could find about the car.

Thanks
Carl :chug:

pull the head off, and use a bore gauge, thats the only way

forgot, to add, stick the bore gauge in one of the cylinders, depending where you at, I have one
