http://www.steeda.com/store/-catalog/555-3710.htm

Does anyone have any specifics on how to build one of these things. The parts have to be infinately cheaper that the $60 that Steeda wants. Anybody got any ideas?

I've seen where you can buy all the parts from sears and a hardware store but I'll have to find it.

Yeah, Wicked should be able to help you out if you can get the parts at Lowe's. :poke:

. . . but seriously, it just looks like a water seperator for an air compressor set up. :yup:

I believe Whitt made one for Marsha's HD.

Hyuck Hyuck, that was so funny! :smack:

Seriously though, I had looked for the same stuff at Lowes. They had an air/water separator for air compressors and it would do the same thing. However, I have seen people run the same setup and have to empty the separator very often. I think the filter in the separator is too restrictive and causes too much oil to be pulled from the air. I thought about putting a different, less dense filter in it.
It can be built for much less than the aftermarket is charging.

I was getting a lot of oil on my breather filter and am now running the PCV suction on one side and the breather on the other...can you say vacuum leak? :jester: Not ideal, but it runs fine like it.

Do a search over on modfords in the terminator forum and you will pull up all sorts of info. From what I've read these things are only about 60% efficient but I bet the efficiency would/could go up with a better filter?
