I'm running into a fuel problem. Even if I turn the regulator down.. I get over 100psi in fuel pressure. It's spewing out of the regulator vac. line.

Heres what I have:

- Anderson Motorsports, Split Ported Cobra intake (Upper & Lower)
- Edel. 75mm throttle body
- C&L 80mm MAF
- Trick Flow Track Heat Camshaft
- E7TE Power Heads
- Ford Racing 42lb Injectors
- Vortech V1 S-Trim Supercharger
- Vortech Fuel Management Unit
- 3.33 Blower Pulley
- Kirban Fuel Pressure Regulator

HELP!!! :dunno:

Thanks
Carl

Take off the fmu ! You dont need it!!! Sounds as though the fmu is hooked up backwards causing the return line to be completly capped off!

If there is fuel coming from the vaccum spout, the regulator is busted and will let it have all the pressure the pump can pump. The fmu may be backwards but the regulator is busted.

I had my fmu backwards and didn't see my fuel preasure up that high. sounds like the regulator is gone.

New Regulator.. Check.. :metal:

Sooo.. I have a Kirban now.. What do you recommend for stock rail replacement?

if it's stock you can swap to the 94-95 fuel rails...they are a cheap decent upgrade if you don't want to go the "macdaddy" billet rail route...

good luck.

I'm with Jeff either the FMU is hooked up backwards or it's bad. With 42's you don't need it anyway.

Unless you are making 600 to the tires the stock rails are fine. Stick the kirban on and take it to a chassis dyno.

Sorry.. I worded that wrong.. I'm not looking for a rail replacement.. I'm meant... What regulator do you recommend to use with my stock rails? :chug:
