That's what i would like to know. My cobra has a power adder and is a STREET car with over 500rwhp. Yes I have full interior, a/c, stereo system and hit 20mpg on the hwy.

So don't discriminate.

With just heads and a cam my car would put an LS1 in its place though

:werd: I think a H/C/I 302 could take out a stock or mild bolt on LS1 any day, especially with 3.55 or lower gears (numerically higher). A power adder, more displacement, or both just add insult to injury. :jester:

My motor combo consists of a mexican block based 331. Heads are Trick Flow Stage 3 ported by TEA. Holley Systemax II intake, F Cam, Comp Magnum 1.6 RR's. Internals are an Eagle 4340 forged crank, Eagle 4340 forged H-Beam rods and Probe forged dish tops. Compression is right at 8.9-1. So HP probably isn't where it could be with more compression, but it's built that way for a reason. :jester:

edit: Mines a Cobra intake, Holley Heads, TFS cam and the pullies, headers, h-pipe, 3.55's that most mustangs have too. I have totally annhialated LS1's on the street and the highway from a "60-kick" or so the ricers like to say.

But it's not about to run with one now. :(

One of my friends came over to show me his new corvette he bought and was talking a bunch of shit how his car is faster then anything on the road. it is an o4, I mean don't get me wrong it's a nice ass car and it was fast, but he didn't think a 5.0 n/a could be built up enough to beat his vette. I told him to give me a year to finish my rebuild and I'd show him what a fox body is capable of. I'd like to have just 1/2 the money he paid for it to put in my stang.

Unless it's a new Z06, he doesn't have room to talk any shit. There are SO many cars around that are WAY faster than a stock C6.
