Isn't Cervini the rounded cowl hood? Instead of being a flat edge it's rounded off. Whoever makes it, I like it.

I don't think I'm talking about that one. It's a normal looking cowl hood but the sides are rounded down instead of straight.

I just looked at the Cervini site. That's it.

fox or sn95?

fox, a nice cowl, conservative, 1/2 inch.. jus sets the car off..

kinda dig the SVO hood personally, its off-center, because its a true functional design, but it will drive you nuts if you don't remember and try and center a shot when taking a picture of it from the front..

sn95... i love the 97 cobra oe hood with the nostrils.. it looks mean..

Does anybody know which cowl hood has the curved end on the sides of the cowl? In stead of cutting off striaght at the cowl they kinda curve up and the toward the windsheild a little.

I like about a 2" cowl on hatch cars, and a 3" cowl on coupes. For strictly a race car, I really like the 3" extended cowl hoods.

I think you are referring to the Cobra R hood for the fox's, also if I'm not mistaken Cervini makes a cowl hood like that also.

I know its not the Cobra R hood. It looks just like a normal cowl hood but the back where it cuts down is curved. Ive only seen a few of these one cars. Ill see if I can draw a picture of it.

Heres kinda what the look like. The one on the top has the curved peice while the other is striaght down.

Oh, I misunderstood what part of the cowl you were referring to.

Are you talking about extended cowl hoods that go back toward the windshield? I'm not real crazy about the way those look, and on a street car I'm especially not fond of them because they have to be "lift off" hoods since they can't tilt up because the extended part would hit the windshield. :notnice:

I like those hoods on race cars but wouldn't use them for a street car

I dont want one of those since you can't use the stock hinges. This is the one that im talking about but I think ive seen some that also have a curve instead of the slant.
