I'm thinking about adding a 75 shot on my '87 GT.

What do you think about this kit?

NOS-05115-10

I don't want a plate system because it won't fit under a stock hood.

Heres my set-up:

- 40,000 Mile Stock Lower End (Next season swapping in a new 347ci)
- Anderson Motorsports, Split Ported Cobra intake (Upper & Lower)
- Edel. 75mm throttle body
- C&L 80mm MAF
- Trick Flow Track Heat Camshaft
- E7TE Power Heads (Lookin' for AFR 185's)
- Ford Racing 42lb Injectors
- Vortech V1 S-Trim w/ Bypass Valve
- 2.50 Blower Pulley / 7" Crank
- Areomotive Fuel Pressure Regulator
- No Smog / No Cats
- BBK Shorties, Off Road X-Pipe, Am. Thunder Cat-Back
- 3:55 Gears
- 255 In Tank
- TKO600 (Coming in a few weeks)

Yeah, that kit will have everything you'll need. A plate kit wouldn't be necessary until you go over a 150hp shot.

Btw... what's all that white stuff all over the ground in your pic? :jester:

What is your power level now? 75 shot might be to big for a blower car

I think the 75 shot will work great. I like that kit, but make sure to watch the tune. Put a WB02 on teh car before you spray it and watch the AFR's closely.

150hp is the lowest a plate kit will jet too.

You will like the 5115 kit, just be sure you have a good fuel pump if you go over the 75 shot. Also it would not hurt to gap the plugs a little smaller as well.

Am I the only one that thinks that boost + a 75 shot is going to split the block

SPLIT IT!!!! I think so. I really wouldn't put a 75 shot on it first. I put a 25 shot on my blower set up and loved it. Cooled the intake temp alot. Saw about a 3 lbs of boost increase. 75 sound like a death wish.

Kiss it goodbye.. I'm trading the '05 in on Friday. I'm going to get a Hummer H3. I'll have my Grand National up for sale this spring.. I want to pick up a new Saleen or Shelby,or even a mid to late 90's Viper. ??

I ran 125 shot on 8 psi of boost for 5 years on a stock block, Motor is still running today in a 89 Mustang daily driver. It all depends on the TUNE PS we just installed a TKO 600 that would not take third gear, Had a few ups and down with tremec they finally admitted there might be a problem and sent the parts for repair. the parts fixed the problem, so you might want to ask if they have taken care of this problem
