To those who have asked and are interested.starting in about two weeks.we will be installing Roll Cages.this will be done in house at Pro Speed Performance but is a separate division from Pro Speed. If you would be interested in a roll cage or roll bar or any other custom chassis work to your car please let us have your business....we can offer a 2-4 day turn around on most all cage work.....we can do chrome moly or mild steel cages for whatever you may need....

as i have stated before...i will also be willing to pick your cars up and deliver them with all work complete for a small towing fee too.

if this can be of service to anyone please let me know.

thanks
Brian

Do you guys install pre-purchased stuff? Or is it just custom? How 'bout a ball-park $$ for say an 8-point chrome-moly with easy-entry lowered side-bars? :nice:

That was going to be one of my questions. I thought about buying a 10-point cage from a place that Edgar recommended and having you guys install it.

:werd: sw race cars, but they make nice cages at a very good price. I think A fox 8 point was only like $180 or so.

the pre bent stuff still requires a lot of work to install.for a real good fit.we will be bending up our own bars.

Yep the pre bent is just that there is still alot of work, especially if you don't have a tubing noctcher. (ALOT OF WORK) just to get it to fit half way decent. If I ever get the chance for another cage it will be a custom job. I think they just turn out nicer.

How much for a mild steel 10-point?

ill have to figure up tomorrow for a mild steel cage.....but the only real money saved will be the difference in the material...which isnt very much......mild steel is heavier:Dso go with the light stuff:D

It's not bad for everything. That's basically "drop off car & pick up car with cage," right?

That is really good pricing for a fit to car set up.

I had bought a pre-bent 6 point bar years ago, for about $250, and paid another $350 to have it welded in (I prep'ed the car myself).

A couple years after this I wanted to complete this bar into a cage, I ended having to pay another guy to cut out most of what was there because the fit really sucked, buy the time I was done I had another $1500 into it, and this was all mild steel.

Trust me for these prices you can't go wrong.

qkjuice - what plans are you going off of for your cages?
William Mathis (How to make a Mustang handle book) has some really good designs
