Which begs the question: can you dynamically load the chassis and weld in subframes? Or will this not be enough to untwist the chassis?

QWKSNKE

No need. They untwisted the body

I like the 500's, however it looks like the fronts stick out too much.

Is it possible to get a set made for the fronts with a different offset?

I plan to address both of those issues when I buy a set :nice:

Nice SVO, I always really liked those.

There's a black 85.5 or 86 SVO with FR500's that I see around here from time to time. The wheels look alright, but do stick out too far.

The un-numbered speedo is about the coolest thing I've seen Ford ever do.

QWKSNKE
03-14-2006, 04:36 PM
yeah, I plan to do an sn95 brake/spindle conversion on the front to get the wheels to sit in flush with the fenders.
The rears sit just right to me with the stock rear end

Just a quick update...
Yes the car has been sitting in the driveway for the last 2 years. Since selling the cobra I have got a little more motivated and started working more overtime at work to buy up a few parts. I am waiting to get a few more things before we take it out to the shop and start on it.
So far I have..

3" midpipe that splits into 2.5" duals
2.5" polished stainless tail pipes
Bob's log header ceramic coated on order (should be here this week)
MGW shifter
Kenny Brown SFC's
Kenny Brown jacking rails
ALL new a/c components and lines

I still have the nitrous kit from the cobra and it will more than likely end up on there with the 100 shot pills in it. Also have boost and fuel press gauges that need to be mounted. I have read up on a new cam that is out so the ranger roller will be coming out this summer as well.

Still need to get wheels and tires to make it road worthy. I know what I want but may have to settle for something else cheaper first.

Hopefully will finish my parts buying by the summer so I can get everything going on it by the next dragon run

Going from the first page. How close does the reflective chrome powercoat look like chrome? Also did eric do it?

yes Eric did it.

It looks more like a nickel or a polished metal than chrome. To me its a nice blend when used in small details (small brackets, etc) but like adding any color to an engine you can over do it quick.

Mildly modified stock turbo. Coupe can chime in on what they did. All I remember is slight port work on the inlet housing, billet backing plate, and all new hardware (bolts, seals, etc)
He said it should be productive up to 25psi. Doubt I'll turn it up that high for a while though
